Changing Ourselves, Changing the World: A Community Course in Transformative Action

The CRESP Center for Transformative Action is offering a 6-week community course on Transformative Action that will run from May 4th - June 8th.

This course offers community members the opportunity to:

  • Learn about Transformative Action principles and practice them in their daily lives
  • Engage with a group of community members who are committed to personal and social transformation
  • Gain empowering skills and strategies to nonviolent social change.

Transformative action is a powerful new approach to social change. It is about transforming hatred into goodwill, problems into opportunities, enemies into allies, and failure into success. Authentic yet compassionate communication is a foundational skill. The goal of this course is to provide community members with some of the skills and strategies needed to engage in this empowering approach to social change.
