Project Partners
Our Project Partners are social entrepreneurs with pattern-breaking ideas that resolve our most pressing social problems and mobilize others to action. They can imagine a positive new future, know how to bring it forward into the present, and then inspire us to create -- moment by moment -- the world we wish to see. They are making the impossible possible!
- Does it seem impossible to read a newspaper and be left feeling hopeful and inspired? Then learn more about Positive News!
- Does it seem impossible for workers to overcome injustices in the work place using non-hostile means? Check out the Tompkins County Workers' Center!
- Does it seem impossible for modern neighborhoods to be ecologically sustainable and foster community? Then consider the living laboratory of EcoVillage at Ithaca.
Strategic Intiatives
Our Strategic Initiatives are designed to open spaces for transformative moments in which perspective suddenly shifts. It is in these moments that social entrepreneurs and change agents find their calling. Our current strategic initiatives are the Performing Arts for Social Change Program, Nonviolent Communication Trainings, Student Social Entrepreneurship, the White Allies Discussion Group on Race and Racism, and the nascent Dorothy Cotton Institute.
